IDX Composite (IHSG) Rises 0.57% to 7,344 in Tuesday's (19/3) Session I

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 41.67 points or 0.57% to 7,344.12 at the end of the first trading session today, Tuesday (19/3).

As many as 253 stocks rose, 245 stocks fell and 246 stocks were stagnant.

Nine sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, two other sectoral indices entered the red zone.

The sectoral index with the largest increase was the energy sector, which rose 0.80%, the primary consumer goods sector rose 0.74% and the health sector rose 0.66%.

Meanwhile, the weakening sectoral indices were the technology sector, which fell 0.48% and the transportation sector, which fell 0.37%.

The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 9.90 billion shares with a total value of Rp 5.08 trillion.

2. PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) (3.23%)
3. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) (2.46%)

The top losers of LQ45 until the first session today are:

1. PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) (-2.61%)
2. PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) (-2.10%)
3. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) (-2.02%)
