IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) strengthened higher at the end of the first trading session today. Wednesday (28/2), the IHSG strengthened by 0.36% or 25.92 to 7,311.24 until the end of the first trading session at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Nine sectoral indices supported the rise of the IHSG until noon today. The infrastructure sector surged 0.88%. The transportation and logistics sector soared 0.79%. The primary consumer goods sector advanced 0.61%. The raw materials sector rose 0.39%. The industrial sector climbed 0.27%.
The property and real estate sector rose 0.22%. The non-primary consumer goods sector strengthened 0.17%. The energy sector rose 0.11%. The financial sector slightly strengthened 0.05%.
Meanwhile, two sectoral indices fell as the IHSG rose until the end of the first session today. The technology sector plunged 2.05%. The health sector dropped 0.79%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 14.20 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 5.45 billion. As many as 268 stocks strengthened. There are 234 stocks that weakened and 251 stocks flat.
The IHSG recorded a decline of 0.51% in the last week. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has strengthened 0.53%.
