IDX Composite Index Rises 0.40% to 7,276 in Wednesday's (6/3) First Session

ILUSTRASI. Wednesday (3/6), the IDX Composite Index (IHSG) rose by 0.40% or 28.93 points to 7,276.39 until the end of the first trading session.

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) continues to strengthen in the first trading session today. On Wednesday (6/3), the IHSG rose 0.40% or 28.93 points to 7,276.39 until the end of the first trading session at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Six sectoral indices lifted the IHSG into the green zone. The technology sector soared 1.84%. The property and real estate sector rose 0.90%. The transportation and logistics sector strengthened 0.71%. The primary consumer goods sector climbed 0.37%. The financial sector rose 0.34%. The industrial sector was lifted by 0.19%.

Meanwhile, five sectors fell as the IHSG strengthened. The infrastructure sector collapsed 0.90%. The non-primary consumer goods sector fell 0.33%. The energy sector was cut by 0.27%. The raw materials sector fell 0.14%. The health sector weakened by 0.05%.

The top gainers LQ45 until noon today are:

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) 7.94%
PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) 7.49%
PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 4.11%

The top losers LQ45 consist of:

PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) -4.72%
PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) -3.50%
PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) -2.40%

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 11.64 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 3.97 trillion. As many as 255 stocks strengthened. There are 256 stocks that weakened and 232 stocks flat.

Despite rising today, the IHSG still accumulates a decrease of 0.71% in the last five trading days. Just a reminder, the IHSG fell four consecutive days until yesterday. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has recorded a slight increase of 0.05%.
