IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) plummeted at the end of the first trading session today. On Friday (1/3) at 11.30 WIB, the IHSG weakened by 0.61% or 44.92 points to 7,271.19.
Five sectoral indices dragged the IHSG into the red zone. The technology sector plunged 1.38%. The financial sector fell 0.93%. The health sector was cut by 0.30%. The industrial sector fell 0.23%. The primary consumer goods sector fell 0.12%.
Meanwhile, six sectoral indices strengthened as the IHSG fell. The property and real estate sector strengthened by 0.24%. The energy sector climbed 0.13%. The non-primary consumer goods sector rose 0.11%. The raw materials sector strengthened by 0.07%. The infrastructure sector climbed 0.01%. The transportation and logistics sector rose by 0.06 points.

The top gainers of LQ45 until the first session today are:

- PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) 3.05%

The total volume of stock exchange transactions until this afternoon is 8.51 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 5.51 trillion. As many as 277 stocks weakened. There are 215 stocks that strengthened and 238 stocks flat.
The IHSG has accumulated a decrease of 0.33% in the last week. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has slightly weakened by 0.02%.
