IDX Composite Strengthens to 7,253.7 at the End of the First Session Today

STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG)  was able to maintain its strengthening until the end of the first trading session today. Wednesday (7/2) at 12.00 WIB, the IHSG strengthened by 6.289 points or 0.09% to 7.253.697.

The strengthening of the IHSG was supported by some sectoral indices. Where, the IDX Transportation and Logistics Sector became the sector with the largest strengthening after rising 0.47% at the end of the first session.

Followed by, the IDX Financial Sector rose 0.38%, the IDX Energy Sector strengthened 0.22%, the IDX Property and Real Estate Sector rose 0.09% and the IDX Industrial Sector slightly strengthened 0.02%.

Meanwhile, the IDX Raw Material Sector became the sector with the deepest weakening after plummeting 0.81% at the end of the first session.

Followed by, the IDX Infrastructure Sector fell 0.6%, the IDX Technology Sector weakened 0.44%, the IDX Primary Consumer Goods Sector weakened 0.23%, the IDX Non-Primary Consumer Goods Sector fell 0.22% and the IDX Health Sector weakened 0.15%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 10.01 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 4.73 trillion. As many as 200 stocks rose. There are 279 stocks down in price and 255 flat.

• PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) rose 2.95%
• PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) rose 2.16%
• PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) rose 1.79%

The top losers of LQ45 this afternoon consist of:

• PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) fell 5.17%
• PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) fell 3.3%
• PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) fell 2.95%
