Hutama Karya Secures Two New Contracts at the Beginning of 2024

CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has secured two new contracts at the beginning of 2024. The new contracts are for the construction of an integrated shrimp farming project.

In addition, Hutama Karya is also building the Junior Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).

Executive Vice President (EVP) of Hutama Karya's Corporate Secretary, Tjahjo Purnomo, said that the integrated shrimp farming project, which is built on a land area of 2,085 hectares and valued at IDR 7.11 trillion, will be completed over 1,095 calendar days.

The project is being carried out through a joint operation (KSO) with PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., (Adhi Karya), Hutama Karya, and PT Minarta Dutahutama (KSO Adhi-HK-Minarta).

Tjahjo explained that Hutama Karya is working on the pipeline network, cultivation ponds, wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), area facilities, and procurement of supporting equipment.

The project is located in Palakahembi Village, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

"This project aims to increase shrimp production through integrated cultivation in one management area while affirming Hutama Karya's commitment to contribute to the development of sustainable aquaculture practices," said Tjahjo in his official statement, on Wednesday (31/1).

As for the Jampidsus building project, the contract was signed by the EVP of the Building Division, Nyoman Endi, along with the Commitment Making Official of the Attorney General's Office, Reinhard Theo S. Manurung.

Tjahjo explained that this IDR 318 billion project is being carried out to rejuvenate the building, including work on the structure, architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), and landscape.

The project will be completed over 240 calendar days and is targeted to be finished in September 2024.

"The building will be in the form of an asymmetric circle and its design will resemble a sword tear, which is the symbol of Jampidsus itself," said Tjahjo.

Furthermore, Tjahjo stated that in carrying out this project, the field team will maximize work to meet functionality standards with a more modern building appearance and completion according to the target.

"The achievement of this construction contract will add and reinforce Hutama Karya's portfolio in building building projects in the Jakarta area," added Tjahjo.
