IDX Composite (IHSG) Rises 0.16% to 7,350 on Friday (22/3)

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) strengthened in the last trading of this week. On Friday (22/3), the IHSG strengthened by 0.16% or 11.8 points to 7,350.15 until the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

Six sectoral indices strengthened along with the IHSG. The health sector soared 1.53%. The technology sector jumped 1.32%. The transportation and logistics sector advanced 1.24%. The financial sector strengthened 0.45%. The primary consumer goods sector rose 0.20%. The infrastructure sector rose slightly by 0.03 points.

Meanwhile, five sectors fell as the IHSG strengthened. The energy sector fell 0.46%. The property and real estate sector was trimmed by 0.33%. The industrial sector weakened 0.32%. The non-primary consumer goods sector eroded 0.18%. The raw materials sector weakened 0.14%.

Today's LQ45 top gainers are:

• PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) 9.47%
• PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) 4.90%
• PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) 3.15%

The LQ45 top losers consist of:

• PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) -10.36%
• PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) -4.23%
• PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) -3.33%

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 15.11 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 9.88 trillion. As many as 243 stocks strengthened. There are 267 stocks that weakened and 253 stocks flat.

The IHSG is recorded to have strengthened 0.30% in a week. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has risen 1.06%.
