Spot Rupiah Closes Weaker at Rp 15,646 Per US Dollar Today (27/2)

ILUSTRASI. Tuesday (27/2), the spot rupiah closed down 0.1% to Rp 15,646 per US dollar.


RUPIAH - JAKARTA. The rupiah exchange rate in the spot market continues to be under pressure until the end of trading today. Tuesday (27/2), the spot rupiah closed weaker at the level of Rp 15,646 per US dollar.

This makes the spot rupiah weaken by 0.1% compared to the closing the previous day at Rp 15,630 per US dollar.

Until 15.00 WIB, the movement of currencies in the region varies. Where, the Taiwan dollar became the currency with the deepest depreciation in Asia after closing down 0.13%. 

Next, the Chinese yuan and the Philippine peso both slipped 0.01%. Followed by, the South Korean won which has already closed slightly weaker by 0.03%.

Meanwhile, the Japanese yen is still the currency with the largest appreciation in Asia after jumping 0.23%. Then, the Malaysian ringgit which rose 0.19%.

Next, the Thai baht appears to rise 0.18% and the Singapore dollar which rose 0.06%. Followed by, the Indian rupee which rose 0.02%.

Then, the Hong Kong dollar appears to strengthen slightly by 0.003% against the greenback in today's trading.
