RUPIAH - JAKARTA. The exchange rate of the rupiah in the spot market continues to be pressured until the end of trading today. On Wednesday (28/2), the spot rupiah closed at a level of Rp 15,692 per US dollar.
This caused the spot rupiah to weaken by 0.29% compared to the closing the previous day at Rp 15,646 per US dollar. The movement of the rupiah is in line with all currencies in the region.
Until 15.00 WIB, the Thai baht became the currency with the deepest depreciation in Asia after plummeting 0.46%.
Next, the Philippine peso and South Korean won have already closed, each down 0.29% and 0.19%. Followed by the Japanese yen which was pressured 0.17%.
Next, the Singapore dollar slipped 0.13%. Then there are the Malaysian ringgit and the Hong Kong dollar, each depreciating 0.04% and 0.02%.

Then there is the Chinese yuan which fell 0.02% and the Indian rupee which weakened slightly 0.01% against the greenback.
