ISSUER-JAKARTA. PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk, a digital information and communication technology (ICT) issuer specializing in solutions, digital consulting, and digital distribution, is optimistic about achieving revenue of around IDR 25 trillion by the end of 2024 in line with the digital transformation towards the industrial era 4.0 carried out by many companies in Indonesia.
"With the end of the election period, we see better economic and business growth prospects for 2024," said Susanto Djaja, President Director of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk in his statement on Friday (16/2).
This is reflected in the business movement of the Distribution unit for the Consumer segment which is starting to recover while the Distribution unit business segment Commercial, and also the Solutions & Consulting business unit continue to increase due to the push coming from the digital transformation process of companies in Indonesia.

"We are optimistic that in 2024 there will be more companies needing Metrodata Group's services in carrying out digital transformation towards Industry 4.0," he hoped.
According to him, the industrial era 4.0 is the era of the integration of the online world and production lines in the industry. In this era, all production processes run with the internet as the main support, which leads to an increase in demand for hardware, software, and system integration services to ensure these products can be applied by businesses, which are offered by MTDL as a complete solution for ICT needs.
Recently, MTDL has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FPT Information System (FPT IS), a leading company in digital transformation in Vietnam. This memorandum aims to explore the possibility of synergizing in the development of world-class digital transformation solutions, supported by Cloud, Data, and Artificial Intelligence solutions, to capture the continuously growing digital opportunities in Indonesia.
In this collaboration, Metrodata and FPT will jointly focus on promoting Artificial Intelligence-based applications to increase productivity and accelerate progress towards achieving the 'Vision Indonesia 2045' goal. This strategic action is in line with our commitment to make technology a growth engine and beacon for sustainable digital economic development in Indonesia," said Susanto.
"Therefore, MTDL is optimistic that it will be able to achieve revenue growth of around IDR 25 trillion this year from the high demand for digital transformation in Indonesia," revealed Susanto.
