ISSUER - JAKARTA. The developer of the modern integrated area of Deltamas City, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) is targeting pre-sales or marketing sales worth IDR 1.81 trillion in 2024. The main contribution to this pre-sales target still comes from the sale of land in the industrial sector.
Tondy Suwanto, Director and Corporate Secretary of the Company, said that the pre-sales target for 2024 set by management was based on several considerations.
"Compared to the pre-sales achievement in 2023, the IDR 1.81 trillion target for 2024 is a moderate conservative target. We also consider other things such as the national economic growth rate and the world geopolitical situation,” Tondy revealed, in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Disclosure Information released on Tuesday (6/2).
He mentioned that at the beginning of 2024 there is still a large demand for land. In the DMAS pipeline, there are still 90 hectares of land demand, this is one of the considerations in determining the 2024 pre-sales target.
Meanwhile, the demand for land at the beginning of 2024 is dominated by the data center segment. The development of information technology, digital transformation, and increasing internet penetration in line with the growth of applications on smart devices, the expansion of broadband telecommunications such as 4G, 5G, FTTH, and Internet of Things, as well as the booming and euphoria of big data and AI utilization, are driving factors for the high demand for data centers.
In addition to the data center segment, there is demand from other industrial segments such as the automotive-related industry, FMCG, chemical industry, and other industries. Demand in the residential sector and commercial sector is also expected to increase along with the increasing economic and industrial activities in Deltamas City.
“Therefore, we are optimistic that we can achieve a pre-sales target of IDR 1.81 trillion in 2024,” said Tondy.
