XL Axiata (EXCL) Posts Profit of IDR 1.28 Trillion, Revenue of IDR 32.34 Trillion

ILUSTRASI. XL Axiata posted 2023 revenue up 11% YoY to IDR 32.34 trillion, EBITDA up 12% YoY to IDR 15.89 trillion, and net profit grew 15% YoY to IDR 1.28 trillion. Meanwhile, ARPU was IDR 43,000 in Q4, driven by an increase in data traffic of 21% and loyal customers of 57.5 million. ISSUER - JAKARTA. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) has successfully achieved impressive growth throughout 2023. The revenue and net profit of this telecommunications operator issuer grew to a double-digit. 

According to EXCL's financial report, the profit attributed to the parent entity reached IDR 1.27 trillion in 2023. This increased by 14.57% annually or Year on Year (YoY) from IDR 1.1 trillion in 2022. 

This achievement was supported by a surge in XL Axiata's top line. EXCL managed to earn revenue of IDR 32.32 trillion or an increase of 10.91% YoY from IDR 29.14 trillion. 

The details are that the data and digital services segment increased by 10.75% YoY to IDR 29.4 trillion. Meanwhile, conversation and SMS decreased by 4.23% annually to IDR 1 trillion.

Then the interconnection services segment and other telecommunications services contributed IDR 1.42 trillion. Meanwhile, EXCL recorded a revenue discount of IDR 31.82 trillion or an increase of 9.99% YoY. 

Then the managed services segment successfully soared 128.11% annually to IDR 411.20 billion. Lastly, the information technology services segment soared 185.31% YoY to IDR 89.8 billion.

Meanwhile, the total assets of EXCL as of December 31, 2023, were at the level of IDR 87.68 trillion. This amount increased by 0.47% annually from IDR 87.27 trillion as of December 31, 2022. 

On the other hand, the burden borne by XL Axiata expanded to IDR 26.5 trillion as of December 31, 2023. This increased by 2.83% annually from IDR 25.77 trillion.
