LISTED COMPANY - JAKARTA. PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has kicked off the first quarter of 2024 on a positive note.
The company's Corporate Secretary & Chief Administration Officer, Nixon Sitorus, stated that the positive performance was reflected in the company's revenue achievement of IDR 4.21 trillion, a growth of 24.35% from the first quarter of 2023.
The company's revenue was contributed by toll revenue of IDR 3.92 trillion and other business revenue of IDR 293.88 billion.

"The company also managed to record a net profit in the first quarter of 2024 of IDR 585.92 billion, growing 14.43% compared to the first quarter of 2023. The company's EBITDA realization was also maintained, reaching IDR 2.75 trillion, with a better EBITDA margin realization compared to the first quarter of 2023, reaching a level of 65.30% amid the operation of new toll roads," said Nixon on Wednesday (1/5).
The consolidation of three trans-Java toll roads, namely PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, PT Jasamarga Solo Ngawi, and PT Jasamarga Ngawi Kertosono Kediri, which has been carried out since July 2023, also contributed to the company's positive achievement in this period.
The company still holds the position of market leader in the toll road industry with a total length of toll roads operated by the Jasa Marga Group of 1,264 KM, representing 47% of toll roads operating throughout Indonesia, and the total toll road concessions managed by the company reaching 1,736 KM.

Nixon added that in terms of the operation of new toll roads, in early January 2024, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, inaugurated the Pamulang-Cinere-Raya Bogor Toll Road, including the Serpong-Cinere Section 2 Pamulang-Cinere Toll Road spanning 3.64 KM, managed by PT Cinere Serpong Jaya, which is part of the Jasa Marga Group.
"In the first quarter of 2024, the company has also implemented several toll rate adjustments, including the Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road, the integration of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Road, and the implementation and simultaneous rate adjustment for the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road," he added.
