IDX Composite Rises 0.03% to 7,331 in Thursday's (29/2) First Session

ILUSTRASI. Thursday (29/2), the IDX Composite Index (IHSG) rose by 0.03% or 2.4 points to 7,331.04 by the end of the first trading session


IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) slightly strengthened at the end of session I despite the majority moving in the red zone since morning. On Thursday (29/2), the IHSG rose 0.03% or 2.4 points to 7,331.04 until the end of trading session I on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Five sectors lifted the IHSG into the green zone. The infrastructure sector rose 0.83%. The raw materials sector climbed 0.70%. The energy sector was lifted by 0.25%. The primary consumer goods sector strengthened by 0.18%. The transportation and logistics sector climbed 0.06%.

Meanwhile, six sectors fell as the IHSG rose slightly. The non-primary consumer goods sector fell 0.71%. The health sector plummeted 0.40%. The financial sector was cut by 0.37%. The property and real estate sector fell 0.29%. The technology sector weakened by 0.29%. The industrial sector fell 0.18%.

The top gainers of LQ45 until noon are:

  • PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) 5.85%
  • PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) 2.99%
  • PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) 2.78%

The top losers of LQ45 consist of:

  • PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) -1.60%
  • PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) -1.60%
  • PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) -1.31%

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 12.87 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 6.22 trillion. As many as 258 stocks strengthened. There are 235 stocks that weakened and 250 stocks flat.

The IHSG was recorded to have weakened by 0.12% in the last week. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has strengthened by 0.80%.
