IDX Composite (IHSG) Strengthens 0.87% to 7,097 in Monday's (4/29) First Session

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 61.12 points or 0.87% to 7,097.20 at the end of the first trading session today, Monday (29/4).

A total of 254 stocks rose, 276 stocks fell, and 240 stocks remained stagnant.

Nine sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, two other sectoral indices entered the red zone.

The sectoral index with the largest increase was the health sector, up 3.83%, the technology sector up 1.27%, and the infrastructure sector up 1.17%.

On the other hand, the weakening sectoral indices were the transportation sector, which fell 0.50%, and the non-primary consumer goods sector, which fell 0.15%.

The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 9.84 billion shares with a total value of Rp 6.18 trillion.

The top gainers of LQ45 until the first session today were:

1. PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) (6.29%)
2. PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) (6.11%)
3. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) (4.92%)

The top losers of LQ45 until the first session today were:

1. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) (-5.32%)
2. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) (-3.09%)
3. PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) (-2.13%)
