IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) successfully maintained its strengthening until the end of the first trading session today. As of 12:00 PM on Thursday (4/4), the IHSG rose by 60.150 points or 0.85% to 7,226.99.
The IHSG's strengthening was supported by several sectoral indices. The IDX Basic Goods Sector emerged as the sector with the largest strengthening, surging by 1.82% at the end of the first session.
Following this, the IDX Infrastructure Sector fell by 0.77%, the IDX Transportation and Logistics Sector rose by 0.7%, and the IDX Technology Sector strengthened by 0.5%.
Next, the IDX Health Sector strengthened by 0.43%, the IDX Non-Primary Consumer Goods Sector rose by 0.42%, the IDX Health Sector strengthened by 0.34%, and the IDX Primary Consumer Goods Sector rose by 0.33%.

Meanwhile, the IDX Energy Sector was the sector with the deepest weakening, falling by 0.57% in this session.
Followed by, the IDX Property and Logistics Sector which rose by 0.31% and the IDX Industrial Sector which corrected by 0.3%.
The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 6.51 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 5.36 trillion. As many as 314 stocks rose. There were 271 stocks that fell in price and 196 remained flat.
The top gainers of LQ45 this afternoon consisted of:
- PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) rose by 7.95%
- PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) rose by 6.12%
- PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. (SIDO) rose by 4.69%
The top losers of LQ45 this afternoon were:
- PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) fell by 1.52%
- PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) fell by 1.43%
- PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) fell by 1.26%
