IDX Composite (IHSG) Strengthens 0.69% to 7,381 in Thursday's (21/3) First Session

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 50.64 points or 0.69% to the level of 7,381.77 at the end of the first trading session today, Thursday (21/3). 

As many as 310 stocks rose, 201 stocks fell and 234 stocks were stagnant.

Most of the sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. The sectoral indices with the largest increases were the technology sector, which rose 2.14%, the raw materials sector, which rose 1.45%, and the property sector, which rose 1.21%.

Meanwhile, one sectoral index, namely the primary consumer goods sector, slipped into the red zone with a weakening of 0.27%.

The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 9.57 billion shares with a total value of Rp 5.38 trillion.
