IDX Composite (IHSG) Weakens to 7,172.9 in Today's First Session, Tuesday (2/4)

ILUSTRASI. Tuesday (2/4), the IDX Composite Index (IHSG) fell by 32.131 points or 0.45% to 7,172.93 at the end of the first session.


IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) continued to weaken until the end of the first trading session today. As of 12:00 PM on Tuesday (2/4), the IHSG fell 32.131 points or 0.45% to 7,172.93.

This weakening of the IHSG was supported by a number of sectoral indices. The IDX Financial Sector was the sector with the deepest decline, plummeting 0.93% at the end of the first session.

This was followed by the IDX Infrastructure Sector, which fell 0.32%, the IDX Property and Real Estate Sector weakened by 0.19%, the IDX Technology Sector weakened by 0.17%, and the IDX Health Sector, which fell 0.11%.

Meanwhile, the IDX Transportation and Logistics Sector was the sector with the largest increase, surging 1.37% in the first session. 

Then, the IDX Energy Sector rose 0.76%, the IDX Basic Goods Sector strengthened by 0.51%, the IDX Industrial Sector strengthened by 0.19%, the IDX Primary Consumer Goods Sector rose 0.12%, and the IDX Non-Primary Consumer Goods Sector strengthened by 0.09%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 9.16 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 5.62 trillion. As many as 327 stocks fell. There were 241 stocks that rose in price and 200 remained flat.

The top losers of LQ45 this afternoon were:

  • PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) fell 4.73%
  • PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) fell 4.22%
  • PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) fell 3.98%

The top gainers of LQ45 this afternoon consisted of:

  • PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) rose 6.82%
  • PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM) rose 3.69%
  • PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) rose 3.53%
