The Rupiah Weakens 0.45% to Rp 16,163 Per US Dollar on Wednesday (29/5) Midday

RUPIAH - JAKARTA. JAKARTA. The Indonesian rupiah continued its downward trend in Wednesday's (29/5) midday trading. As of 12.09 WIB, the rupiah was trading at Rp 16,163 per US dollar, a 0.45% depreciation from the previous day's level of Rp 16,090 per US dollar.

In Asia, all currencies uniformly weakened against the US dollar. The Philippine peso recorded the steepest decline of 0.72%, followed by the rupiah's 0.45% depreciation, the South Korean won's 0.44% decline.
