STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) changed strongly today, Tuesday (11/13), closed up 58.14 points or 1.01% to 5,835.2.
Only armed with 168 shares that rose in price, the JCI grew positively today. Meanwhile there were 188 shares down and 147 shares unchanged compared to yesterday's closing.
Today 9.67 billion shares change hands with a total transaction value of RpĀ 7.87 trillion.
Nine of the ten JCI sectors strengthened. The financial sector rose 1.49% followed by various industries which rose 1.33%. The only sector that weakened was agriculture with a decrease of 1.86%.
Some of the LQ45 index constituents are top gainers today. They are:
- PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) rose 8.61% to Rp 1,450 per share
- PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) rose 6.33 percent to Rp 17,650 per share
- PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) which rose 5.52% to Rp 34,900 per saam
Weakened LQ45 shares include:
- PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) which fell 3.46% to Rp. 4,750 per share
- PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) fell 3.2% to Rp 2,120 per share
- PT Medco Energi Interational Tbk (MEDC) fell 3.13% to Rp 775 per share.
In the regular market, foreign investors' net buy reached Rp 119.5 billion, but for the entire market, foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp 158 billion.
