Sales of Heavy Equipment and Gold UNTR Down by April

HEAVY EQUIPMENT - JAKARTA. PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), a leading heavy equipment and gold segment company, has reported a downturn in its operational performance for the first four months of 2024. According to the company's monthly report, UNTR sold 1,400 units of Komatsu heavy equipment by April 2024, a 33.8% decrease from last year when it sold 2,116 units.

Of the total Komatsu sales, 68% were absorbed by the mining sector, 13% were sold to the construction sector, 11% to the agribusiness sector, and 8% to the forestry sector. As of April 2024, Komatsu's market share stood at 29%.
