ISSUER - JAKARTA. PT Paramount Enterprise International (Paramount Land) recorded a total marketing sales of IDR 5.7 trillion in 2023.

This achievement increased by more than 7 percent compared to 2022, which was IDR 5.3 trillion. Previously, the company only targeted sales of IDR 5.5 trillion.

Paramount Land's President Director Muhammad Nawawi said, the positive economic growth last year has increased people's purchasing power and confidence to buy property.

"We declare ourselves to have moved up a class. We have done a lot in the last five years. We can get through the pandemic. The graph keeps going up both in terms of revenue and the number of units built. There is one phenomenal growth, which means we plan, but the result is unexpected, that is, in a weakening economic situation and pandemic we can get through," he explained in a written statement on Monday (5/2/2024).

According to him, the increase in marketing sales certainly also has a positive impact on many economic actors.

Because, the property sector involves dozens of supporting businesses, such as cement, iron, steel, and the availability of jobs.

This is what actually becomes one of Paramount Land's main concerns to continue building property projects in a pandemic and economic crisis situation.

"This positive trend is the result of various initiatives that we have taken not only from the marketing side, but also various other aspects. Since the pandemic to post-pandemic, we maintain our commitment as a responsible real estate company to consumers by delivering products as promised," he explained.

Residential and shop projects at Paramount Land (1,000 hectares) Gading Serpong, Tangerang, recorded the highest sales recognition throughout 2023.

This year, sales are projected to be even better following the addition of several modern facilities in the new city of Paramount Land Gading Serpong.

One of them is Black Owl, a luxurious lounge with an international concept that will be present in the latest lifestyle center of Gading Serpong, Manhattan District.

This popular hangout will be built on a land area of 1,600 m2, and will be the third branch of Black Owl after Kelapa Gading and Golf Island Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) North Jakarta.

"In 1993, when we first developed Gading Serpong, it was only a stretch of land mixed with pine and rubber trees. Today that stretch of land is gone and has turned into houses and buildings," he added.

Meanwhile, the new city of Paramount Petals (400 hectares), Jalan Raya Curug, Cukang Galih, Tangerang Regency, Banten, recorded a total sales of as many as 1,280 residential and commercial units since it was introduced to the public in July 2021.

As many as 80 percent of Paramount Petals consumers are end users dominated by millennials.

Nawawi stated that this achievement is proof of the momentum of the property industry's growth that has started to move up since the first quarter of 2021.

For 2024, Paramount Land will continue to focus on launching new residential and commercial properties in the middle and premium market segments in Gading Serpong, Paramount Petals, and Paramount Village Semarang.

Nawawi is optimistic that property demand will experience a positive trend this year as the market gradually improves.

"Currently, we continue to open new clusters in several existing projects to meet consumer demand. The plan is there are 14 new products, the largest composition is still commercial (70 percent). We are optimistic that by the end of the year the demand for property will be better than in 2023," he concluded.
