IDX Composite Strengthens 0.14% to 7,338 in Monday's (18/3) Session I

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 10.10 points or 0.14% to 7,338.16 at the end of the first trading session today, Monday (18/3).

As many as 255 stocks rose, 261 stocks fell and 237 stocks were stagnant.

Nine sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, two other sectoral indices entered the red zone.

The sectoral index with the largest increase is the primary consumer goods sector which rose 0.81%, the raw materials sector rose 0.68% and the health sector rose 0.63%.

Meanwhile, the weakening sectoral indices are the financial sector which fell 0.29% and the transportation sector which fell 0.24%.

The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 8.08 billion shares with a total value of Rp 4.53 trillion.

2. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) (7.02%)
3. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) (4.92%)
