IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) which had strengthened in the first session this morning finally closed down. On Thursday (22/2), the IHSG fell 0.13% or 9.38 points to 7,339.64 until the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).
The IHSG fell even though the majority of sectoral indices strengthened. The decline mainly occurred in the technology sector which plummeted 1.17%. The financial sector fell 0.17%.
Nine sectoral indices strengthened today. The infrastructure sector soared 1.64%. The raw materials sector jumped 1.58%. The transportation and logistics sector collapsed 1.47%. The energy sector plunged 0.92%. The primary consumer goods sector fell 0.84%. The industrial sector was cut by 0.66%.
The non-primary consumer goods sector rose 0.58%. The property and real estate sector rose 0.17%. The health sector strengthened slightly 0.04%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 16.8 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 8.8 trillion. As many as 297 shares strengthened. There are 218 shares down in price and 256 shares flat.
The IHSG has strengthened 0.50% in the last week. Since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has strengthened 0.92%.
