IDX Composite (IHSG) Rises 1.36% to 7,179 on Wednesday (15/5)

From IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG), JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) surged in today's trading. On Wednesday (15/5), the IHSG strengthened by 1.36% or 96.07 points to 7,179.83 by the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BE).

Eight sectoral indices supported the rise of the IHSG today. The raw materials sector jumped 2.43%. The financial sector soared 0.92%. The infrastructure sector climbed 0.70%. The technology sector rose 0.44%. The transportation and logistics sector strengthened 0.36%.
