IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) strengthened on the final day of this week. On Friday (3/5), the IHSG rose by 0.24% or 17.3 points to 7,134.72 by the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Five sectoral indices supported the IHSG's rise today. The health sector soared by 1.71%. The technology sector jumped by 1.08%. The primary consumer goods sector rose by 0.41%. The non-primary consumer goods sector climbed by 0.31%. The financial sector strengthened by 0.12%.
Meanwhile, six sectors fell as the IHSG strengthened. The raw materials sector fell by 0.58%. The transportation and logistics sector dropped by 0.29%. The industrial sector was cut by 0.24%. The energy sector eroded by 0.20%. The infrastructure sector weakened by 0.01%. The property and real estate sector fell slightly by 0.01%.

Today's LQ45 top gainers are:
- PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) -4.76%
- PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) 4.70%
- PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) 3.77%
The LQ45 top losers consist of:
- PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) 3.30%
- PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) 2.77%
- PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) 2.63%
The total volume of exchange transactions reached 21.05 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 12.07 trillion. As many as 288 shares weakened. There were 254 shares strengthening and 231 shares remained flat.
The IHSG strengthened by 0.29% in the last five trading days, including Friday (26/4). Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the IHSG has fallen by 1.90%.
