IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed down 117.60 points or 1.63% to 7,116.59 at the end of the first trading session today, Thursday (2/5).
A total of 174 stocks rose, 392 stocks fell, and 191 stocks remained stagnant.
Only two sectoral indices survived into the green zone, namely the health sector which rose 0.50% and the industrial sector which rose 0.17%.
Meanwhile, nine other sectoral indices entered the red zone, following the weakening of the IHSG.

The sectoral index with the deepest decline was the financial sector which plummeted 2.68%, the transportation sector fell 1.75% and the non-primary consumer goods sector fell 1.70%.
The total volume of stock trading on the exchange until the first session today reached 11.45 billion shares with a total value of Rp 8.35 trillion.

2. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) (1.46%)
