IDX Composite (IHSG) Drops 1.49% to 7,034 on Thursday (30/5)

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite (IHSG) in Indonesia took another hit as May drew to a close. On Thursday (30/5), the IHSG plummeted by 1.49% or 106.09 points to 7,034.14 by the end of trading at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

Out of 11 sectoral indices, only one sector strengthened, namely the health sector, which climbed by 0.25%. The remaining 10 sectors declined. The raw materials sector slumped by 2.10%. The infrastructure sector plunged by 1.86%. The technology sector tumbled by 1.52%. The transportation and logistics sector fell by 1.26%.
