Honda Prospect Motor Releases New BR-V Variant at Indonesia Motor Show IIMS 2024

IIMS - JAKARTA. PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) launched the New Honda BR-V N7X Edition on the opening day of the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.
The New Honda BR-V N7X Edition retains various advantages of the All New Honda BR-V, now appearing more stylish, similar to the Honda N7X concept.

The Honda N7X Concept was developed through a series of research conducted by Honda R&D Asia Pacific on the use of SUVs by families and various road characters in Indonesia. This concept was then applied to the second generation of the Honda BR-V, which was launched in Indonesia in 2022.

Just so you know, since its launch, this model has achieved sales of 41,000 units within two years. Not only in Indonesia, the quality of the All New Honda BR-V is also recognized internationally with export demand from 30 countries around the world.

Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of Honda Prospect Motor, said that supported by the largest power in its class and the highest safety standards equipped with Honda SENSING technology, the All-New Honda BR-V has provided a new definition of driving comfort.

“Through the special grade introduced today, we want to provide added value for consumers by making the appearance of the BR-V more stylish, similar to the concept offered by the N7X,” he said in an official statement received by Kontan, Thursday (15/2).

Based on a survey conducted by Honda, consumers also want a stylish car design for their family car in addition to comfort, driving performance, and safety. Therefore, changes to the New BR-V N7X Edition focus on the exterior appearance with a new, more stylish color, the addition of an aero kit and garnish on the exterior, and a new, more iconic name.

He continued, for the first time Honda introduced one of its favorite colors, Sand Khaki Pearl on the Honda BR-V model available exclusively for the N7X Edition. The khaki color was chosen because it aligns with the stylish concept, whereas in the fashion world, this color is known to represent a classic, elegant, and timeless character.

The Sand Khaki Pearl color was first introduced on the All New Honda HR-V model in 2022. Since its introduction, this color has become one of the best-selling colors and is always in demand by Honda HR-V consumers.

In addition to having a fresher new color, the car's design now looks more stylish with a two-tone concept that combines black with chrome. Changes to the exterior of the New BR-V N7X Edition include the addition of a New Exclusive N7X Edition Aero Kit consisting of a Front Under Spoiler, Side Under Spoiler, Rear Under Spoiler, and Dark Chrome Emblem.

In addition, at the front, there is also a New Sleek Dark Chrome Front Grille combined with Chrome Garnish and a New LED Foglight with Stylish Chrome Garnish.

There is also the addition of black color that gives a sporty impression where on the side there is a New Power Retractable Black Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal and Door Handle and Tailgate Spoiler. Then, a New Black Shark Fin Antenna and a new Reflector Garnish on the rear of the car were also added. The wheel part now uses a black Wheel Arch Protector that is even sportier with the New 17” Progressive Black Alloy Wheel Design.

The New Honda BR-V N7X Edition offers a comfortable and spacious cabin space, as well as a premium and stylish interior design for its drivers and passengers. All seats are covered with black Leather-Trimmed Seats, creating a more stylish atmosphere.

In the driving area, there is a steering wheel and gear lever that is also wrapped in black leather, adding a touch of luxury to the interior design.

In line with its concept that embodies the N7X Concept into the design of the New Honda BR-V, this special grade also carries the N7X Edition emblem located on the front grill. The N7X name itself stands for New 7-Seater eXcitement as a comfortable, safe, and tough 7-passenger SUV in various road conditions.

Not only offering a more stylish design, the New Honda BR-V N7X Edition still retains the largest engine in its class, the Honda i-VTEC DOHC 1.5L, which can produce a maximum power of 121 PS at 6,600 engine rpm then a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 engine rpm. This driving force produces a balance between extraordinary driving performance and fuel efficiency in various road conditions.

The New Honda BR-V N7X Edition is offered at a starting price of IDR 319,400,000 for the E CVT type, the Prestige type priced at IDR 343,400,000, and the Prestige with Honda SENSING type priced at IDR 363,400,000.
