AUTOMOTIVE - JAKARTA. At the beginning of 2024, several automotive manufacturers have started to massively launch their latest products.
Some of them are pure electric vehicles or battery electric vehicle (BEV).
One of them is the South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, which is set to launch more than 5 new cars in 2024.
“Hyundai will have 6 new products in 2024, including our electric vehicle,” said Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), in Central Jakarta, Tuesday (6/2/2024).
Meanwhile, Budi Nur Mukmim, Chief Marketing Officer of HMID added, two products will be launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) on February 15, 2024.
“There will be two new products launching at IIMS,” said Budi.
Previously, Hyundai salespeople in South Jakarta said there would be five models launched by Hyundai, namely Creta Facelift, Kona EV, Santa Fe All New, Custo and Casper.
“But for IIMS itself we have not yet received information on which one will be launched first,” said the Hyundai salesperson.
For your information, Creta Facelift, Kona EV and All New Santa Fe have already been launched globally. All three play in the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, with different dimensions.
As for Hyundai Casper, it plays in the Compact SUV segment, with a futuristic and sporty appearance.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Custo plays in the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) sliding door class, which could be a competitor to the Toyota Innova Zenix.
