CAPITAL INFLOW - JAKARTA. During the fourth week of July 2024, a significant influx of foreign capital was observed in the domestic financial market, amounting to approximately Rp 1.93 trillion between July 22 and 25.

Erwin Haryono, Assistant Governor and Head of the Communication Department at Bank Indonesia, stated that the foreign funds came from the state securities market (SBN), the stock market, and the Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI). "This consists of a net purchase of Rp 3.37 trillion in the SBN market, a net sale of Rp 1.39 trillion in SRBI, and a net sale of Rp 0.05 trillion in stocks," Erwin explained in his written statement on Friday (26/7).
