Bali Arts Festival 2017 trending on Twitter

DENPASAR. The opening of the Bali Arts Festival (PKB) 2017 was a huge success with hashtags #PestaKesenianBali and #yuknontonpkb placing first and second on the national trending topics list on Twitter for 13 hours beginning at 08:00 p.m.

“We’re proud that a lot of netizens participated in promoting this international cultural event in Bali. The response has been overwhelming, the hashtags #pestakesenianbali and #yuknonontopkb took the first and second positions on the national trending topics list for more than 13 hours,” said the coordinator of Indonesian Charms Generation (GenPI) Central Java chapter Shafigh Pahlevi Lontoh.

“Be proud of Indonesia and its diversity #PestaKesenianBali," tweeted one account named @RichoMenara.
"Terimakasih kalian. Pengalaman yang luar biasa (Thank you guys, what an awesome experience) #pestakesenianbali," tweeted @GigaAmara.

Around 100,000 people gathered at the Renon Square from 02:00 p.m. The launch of PKB 2017 was conducted by Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo.
