Avia Avian (AVIA) Will Distributes Dividends of Rp 1.36 Trillion

DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION - JAKARTA. PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) has decided to distribute dividends amounting to Rp 22 per share, attributed to the parent entity owners of AVIA. 

This decision was agreed upon and has received approval through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Thursday, (4/4).

Avia Avian Head of Investor Relations, Andreas Timothy Hadikrisno, said that the total cash dividends distributed reached Rp 1.36 trillion or represented a dividend payout ratio of 83.0% from the net profit of the 2023 fiscal year recorded at Rp 1.64 trillion with a net profit margin of 23.4%. 

This value already includes the interim dividend that was paid on October 31, 2023, amounting to Rp681,489,111,600 or Rp 11 per share. 

Therefore, the remaining cash dividend to be paid to the Company's shareholders is at least Rp 681 billion," Andreas said, Thursday (4/4).

He continued, the dividend payout ratio reaching 83.0% is far above AVIA's general policy and dividend commitment, which is at least 50% of the Company's net profit. 

According to Andreas, this dividend distribution decision has considered the budget for working capital needs, the budget for the share buyback program, the capital expenditure budget for both routine and expansion capital expenditures intended for the construction of the third factory in Cirebon, as well as business development needs and other related matters.

Meanwhile, AVIA's net profit growth achievement reaching a double-digit in 2023 of 17.3% illustrates AVIA's ability to manage the quality of its assets.

 

For your information, the Company's return on asset (ROA) ratio in 2023 reached 14.7% and the Company's return on equity (ROE) ratio in the same period was recorded at 16.6%.

As a note, over the past three years, AVIA has distributed dividends above 80% of annual net profit. In 2022 alone, AVIA's dividend payout ratio reached 92.9% of the total net profit in 2022.
