DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION - JAKARTA. PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) is set to distribute dividends worth IDR 33.03 trillion from the total profit obtained in 2023. The decision was made in the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on March 7, 2024.
The amount of dividends distributed is equivalent to 60% of the total 2023 profit of IDR 55.1 trillion. If compared to the previous year, the ratio of dividends distributed is the same.
In detail, dividends worth IDR 17.18 trillion will be distributed to the state which holds 60% of the shares of BMRI. The rest is distributed to public shareholders at IDR 353.95 per share.

For information, Bank Mandiri was able to perform excellently last year. The bank recorded a net profit for the year 2023 of IDR 55.1 trillion. This achievement increased by 33.7% year on year (YoY).
With this achievement, Bank Mandiri remains one of the red-plate banks that recorded the largest profit in the country.
One of the supports for this profit growth is the increase in net interest income (NII) in that period. Bank Mandiri recorded an NII of IDR 95.88 trillion or an increase of 9.08% YoY.
As a result, the net interest margin of this gold-ribbon logoed bank rose to 5.48%. For comparison, in the same period the previous year, Bank Mandiri's NIM was recorded at 5.47%.
