BISNIS TRANSPORTASI - JAKARTA. Online travel company Traveloka has enlisted Indonesia’s leading taxi firm, Blue Bird, to provide transportation for its customers in 10 Indonesian cities.
The collaboration, announced at a press conference on Tuesday, allows customers to book taxis in advance along with their flights and hotels.
Publicly listed PT Blue Bird offers customers a range of vehicles including limousines and mini buses at airports in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Denpasar and Medan among others.
Those who opt to take Blue Bird shuttle buses can also book and pay for tickets in advance.
Traveloka senior vice president of business development, Caesar Indra, said at the joint press conference that his firm had agreed to collaborate with Blue Bird because it had built and maintained a good reputation for decades, which would give customers added assurance.
"We decided to partner with Traveloka because we have the same vision, which will promote further expansion and development," Blue Bird director Sigit Priawan Djokosoetono added.
He also said the collaboration offered more airport transfer options to customers, rather than just taxis.
