INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS - JAKARTA. The Trans Java Toll Road is now connected from Merak to Probolinggo, spanning 1065.50 Km, and will extend to the eastern tip of Java Island to Banyuwangi.

In an official statement from the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) on Tuesday (19/12), before operating until now, 3 sections of the Trans Java Toll Road have already been operating, starting from the Semarang Toll Road Section ABC spanning 24.75 Km, which has been operating since 1983.

The Jakarta - Tangerang Toll Road spanning 33 Km has also been operating since 1984, and the Surabaya - Gempol Toll Road spanning 48.89 Km has been operating since 1986.

Starting from the Semarang ABC Toll Road spanning 24.75 Km, which is part of the first Trans Java Toll Road to operate since 1983, it serves as a connecting access for vehicles in the West, East, and South of Semarang City.

Not only does it play a role in facilitating access between regions in Semarang and its surroundings, the Semarang ABC Toll Road also provides important access that connects the North Coast of Java with the National Road towards Purwodadi, Yogyakarta and Solo, and is directly connected with the Semarang - Solo Toll Road at the southern end and the Semarang - Batang Toll Road at the western end.

Next, the Jakarta - Tangerang Toll Road is the second toll road to operate on the Trans Java Toll Road, with a length of 33 Km, inaugurated since 1984.

Currently, the Jakarta - Tangerang Toll Road serves as a connector for several other toll road sections in Jakarta and Banten, such as the Tangerang-Merak toll road section, the Jakarta inner city toll road section, the Jakarta outer ring road 1, and the Jakarta outer ring road 2.

Then, the Surabaya - Gempol Toll Road spanning 48.89 Km has been operating since 1986, which operates on the Trans Java Toll Road stretching and connected from Surabaya to Gempol and connected with other toll road sections in the East Java region.
