MARKET AND STOCK TRADING - JAKARTA. Rupiah exchange rate this afternoon, Monday (5/11), moves steadily below Rp 15,000 per US dollar. Nevertheless, the rupiah weakened slightly in the spot market.
At 11.07 WIB, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market weakened to a position of 14,978 from 14,955 last weekend.
Meanwhile, the rupiah exchange rate based on the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) rose to Rp. 14,972 per US dollar compared to last weekend's position at Rp 15,089 per US dollar.
In today's trade transactions, investors will look at Indonesia's economic indicators. Today, the government will announce the data for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2018. The government and Bank Indonesia have previously signaled the economic slowdown to 5.1%. Meanwhile, the Bloomberg consensus is targeting economic growth of 5.27%.
