Thailand Car Production Drop 16.6% in July as Local Sales Down, Federation Says

AUTOMOTIVE - BANGKOK. Car production in Thailand fell 16.62% in July from a year earlier to 124,829 units due mainly to lower domestic sales, the Federation of Thai Industries said on Tuesday.

The figure compared with June's 20.11% year-on-year decline. It was the 12th straight month that production had contracted.
