ELECTRIC VEHICLE - JAKARTA. JAKARTA. The electric motorcycle purchase subsidy program is deemed effective in boosting electric motorcycle sales. Therefore, electric motorcycle entrepreneurs are hoping that the government will continue the electric motorcycle purchase subsidy program.

Febri Hendri Antoni Arif, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), stated that as of May 27, 2024, assistance for the purchase of electric motorcycles has been distributed to as many as 30,083 units. This figure is equivalent to 60.1% of the target sales of subsidized electric motorcycles, which is set at 50,000 units in 2024.
