PTBA: Former TNI chief replace Patrialis Akbar

JAKARTA. PT Bukit Asam has appointed former Indonesian Military (TNI) commander Adm. (ret) Agus Suhartono as its new president commissioner and independent commissioner.

Agus replaces Patrialis Akbar, former law and human rights minister and current Constitutional Court justice who is also a senior politician in the National Mandate Party (PAN).

“We have accepted Patrialis Akbar’s resignation,” PTBA president director Milawarna said on Thursday.

Agus was born in Blitar, East Java on Aug. 25, 1955 and was the TNI commander from Sept. 27, 2010 to Sept. 4, 2013.
