Mayapada Hospital at IKN, Plans to Start Operating in the Second Half of 2024

ISSUER NEWS - JAKARTA. The construction of PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk's (SRAJ) or Mayapada Healthcare Group's hospital in the Capital of Nusantara (IKN) is being pursued to be operational by the second semester of 2024.

Mayapada Healthcare Group's Corporate Secretary Arie Farisandi said the construction of the hospital, which is planned to be operational in the second semester of 2024, coincides with the inauguration of IKN.

"In relation to the construction of the hospital in IKN, we have budgeted up to Rp 500 billion to build a hospital with a capacity of 200 beds, which is planned to be divided into 6 classes," Arie told Kontan.co.id, Monday (29/1).

The 6 classes consist of the highest type, the presidential suite, down to the lowest, class 3. 

Arie said, the physical construction has been carried out with construction work.

The hospital being built in IKN carries the theme of Hospital in the Jungle, which is adapted to the concept of IKN as a forest city, standing on an area of 1.1 hectares. 
As much as 20% of the total land area will be utilized as a green area, equipped with a healing garden with a garden management system to help speed up patient recovery.

In line with the concept of sustainability towards environmental preservation, the construction of Mayapada Hospital Nusantara was built according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health for Environmentally Friendly Hospitals and the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing regulation no. 21 of 2021.

The design of the hospital has also been handed over to the IKN design curator to be adapted to the concept in IKN itself. Recently, SRAJ has also been constructing a new hospital in East Jakarta, which is targeted to be completed in 2025.
