MANUFACTURING - JAKARTA. Indonesia's government said on Tuesday PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia has launched its first production of lithium iron phosphate from a plant in Java, in line with the country's push to develop a production industry for electric vehicles (EV).
The company is expected to expand its production capacity to 90,000 metric tons by 2025 from 30,000 tons in the first phase.
