Indonesia's Foreign Debt Decreases to US$ 403.9 Billion in the First Quarter of 2024

JAKARTA, SOVEREIGN DEBT - Indonesia's foreign debt (ULN) for the first quarter of 2024 has decreased, according to Bank Indonesia (BI). The country's ULN position in Q1 2024 was recorded at US$ 403.9 billion, a drop from the Q4 2023 position of US$ 408.5 billion.

Erwin Haryono, Assistant Governor of the Bank Indonesia Communication Department, attributed the decrease in ULN position to both the public and private sectors.
