STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. Indonesia's benchmark stock index tumbled 7% in early trade on Wednesday after index provider MSCI said it would freeze certain changes for Indonesian stocks until regulators address some of investor concerns around free floats.
The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), financial regulator OJK, and the Securities Depository and Settlement Institution were in discussions with the MSCI to address data transparency issues, the exchange operator told Reuters
