PAYMENT - JAKARTA. The use of the quick response code Indonesian standard (QRIS) for transactions continues to surge.
According to Bank Indonesia (BI), as of April 2024, QRIS transactions have grown by 194.06% year on year (yoy), with the number of users reaching 48.90 million and the number of merchants hitting 31.86 million.
