IDX Composite Index Slips 0.40% to 7,247 on Tuesday (5/3)

ILUSTRASI. During Tuesday's (3/5) trading, the IDX Composite Index corrected by 29.28 points or 0.40% to the level of 7,247.46 when the market closed.


IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) -  JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed in the red zone for four consecutive trading days. 

On Tuesday's trading (5/3), the IHSG corrected by 29.28 points or 0.40% to the level of 7,247.46 when the market closed. Thus, the IHSG has fallen 0.52% in the last week of trading.

As many as 10 out of 11 sectors on the IDX closed in the red zone. The sectors that fell the most were property and real estate 1.43%, primary consumer goods sector 0.89%, technology sector 0.86%, raw materials sector 0.81%, non-primary consumer goods sector 0.75%, infrastructure sector 0.64%.

Then the industrial sector also weakened by 0.45%, the health sector 0.27%, the transportation sector 0.18% and the financial sector 0.17%. Only the energy sector closed in the green zone with a strengthening of 0.72%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 17.27 billion with a transaction value of IDR 9.47 trillion. There were 340 stocks that fell, 198 stocks that rose and 236 stocks that remained unchanged or stagnant.

The top losers in LQ45 were:

1. PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) 5.91% to IDR 955 per share
2. PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) 4.26% to IDR 1,350 per share
3. PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) 3.54% to IDR 545 per share

 

 

The top gainers in LQ45 were:

1. PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) 3.54% to IDR 2,630 per share
2. PT Indo Tambangraya Tbk (ITMG) 3.03% to IDR 27,175 per share
3. PT Essa Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) 2.91% to IDR 530 per share

Meanwhile, the market cap of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday reached IDR 11.628 trillion.
