CORPORATE ACTION - JAKARTA. State-owned construction company, PT Hutama Karya (Persero), is targeting a new contract acquisition of IDR 28 trillion in 2024. This targets is down 9.31% compared to the value of new contracts in 2023, which was recorded at IDR 30.87 trillion.
In 2023, Hutama Karya consolidated new contracts worth IDR 30.87 trillion. The largest contribution came from the road and bridge portfolio as well as buildings.
EVP Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo said, the acquisition of new contracts this year will be dominated by the road, bridge, and building portfolio.
“The target for new contracts in 2024 is IDR 28 trillion, which is still dominated by the Road, Bridge, and Building portfolio,” said Tjahjo to Kontan.co.id, Sunday (17/3).
As of February 2024, Hutama Karya has secured three new contracts. Tjahjo did not specify the value of these new contracts, he only mentioned that one of the new contracts came from the Integrated Shrimp Farming Construction Services.

Then there is also the Design & Build Construction work for the Anggrek Port in Gorontalo Province, as well as the construction of the Deputy Attorney General's Building for Special Crimes.
With its plans this year, Hutama Karya is targeting a profit increase of 6.9% compared to 2023.
One of the positive catalysts is the government's commitment to equalize infrastructure development in Indonesia, including in Sumatra with the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road.
“This can be a positive momentum for the Company in increasing the 2024 performance target, especially to complete the construction of JTTS Phase I and start exploring several sections of Phase II,” he said.
