MIDDLE EAST - JAKARTA. TEHRAN, CAIRO - Yemen's armed group has announced that they have carried out five military operations targeting Israeli, American, and British vessels. These attacks are a show of support for the Palestinian people who are oppressed by Israeli colonization.

In a statement quoted by IRNA, it was mentioned that these attacks are in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, and to mark their ten years of resilience in the face of American-British aggression.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out five military operations in the last 72 hours,” they said in a statement released on Sunday.

The statement mentioned that the British ship Hope Island was targeted in the Red Sea with many naval missiles.

Meanwhile, two Israeli ships, named MSC Grace F and MSC Gina, were also targeted in the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea, respectively.

In addition, the armed forces carried out two drone operations against an American war frigate in the Red Sea, successfully hitting their targets.

The British maritime security company Ambrey confirmed on Sunday that two ships were targeted off the coast of Yemen.

Earlier that day, Ambrey had reported another incident involving a projectile falling near a ship southwest of the port of Aden in Yemen.

The Yemeni Armed Group has been attacking ships affiliated with the Israeli regime, as well as its allies the US and Britain, in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea since November as part of the extensive Axis of Resistance campaign to support Palestine in Gaza.

A report by Reuters news agency mentioned that the United States forces claimed to have destroyed a mobile surface-to-air missile system in the Houthi-controlled area of Yemen on April 6, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Sunday.

The US forces also claimed to have shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle or UAV drone over the Red Sea, the statement said, adding that the coalition ship also detected, attacked, and destroyed an incoming anti-ship missile. The US reported no casualties or damage.
