Gudang Garam profit up 18.8 percent last year

JAKARTA. Cigarette producer PT Gudang Garam (GGRM) said Wednesday its annual profit rose by 18.8 percent to Rp 4.1 trillion (US$455 million) last year from Rp 3.45 trillion in 2009.

GGRM posted revenue of Rp 37.69 trillion in 2010, up from Rp 32.97 trillion in 2009.

Kediri-based GGRM is one of Indonesia's biggest cigarette producers. It churned out 60 billion cigarettes in 2009. (The Jakarta Post)
