Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya (GOOD) Will Distribute Dividends of IDR 331.9 Billion

DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION - JAKARTA. PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) has announced plans to distribute a cash dividend of IDR 331.92 billion for the fiscal year 2023. This dividend represents 57.19% of the company's net profit for the same year.

The decision to distribute the dividend was made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of GOOD, which was held in a hybrid format at the Arosa Hotel in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/4).

Last year, GOOD recorded a net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 580.41 billion, marking an increase of 36.5% compared to the previous year.

The growth in net profit was supported by several factors, including excellent operational cost management, such as the cost of raw materials for production, packaging materials, and logistics costs.

Based on the results of the AGMS, a dividend of IDR 331.92 billion or IDR 9 per share will be distributed in cash on May 21, 2024, to all shareholders registered in the Shareholder Register as of May 15, 2024.

The distribution of this dividend has taken into account the projected growth of Garudafood's business and the anticipation of potential risks in the future.

Garudafood is confident in its ability to take advantage of these opportunities, in order to provide added value to shareholders,” said Hardianto Atmadja, CEO of Garudafood in a written statement on Tuesday (30/4).
